Tornado relief efforts for the victims in Southern Kenton County has been organized and you are encouraged to assist in anyway you can. Residents are in need of vital supplies and there are currently 5 drop off locations in/around Independence that will be running on Saturday, March 3rd. The group, Coordination of help for NKY victims of 3.2.12 tornado has been organized on Facebook to help with relief efforts. American Legion Moon Brothers Post 275 has started their very own Legion Riders! American Legion Riders chapters are well known for their charitable work, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's hospitals, schools, veterans homes, severely wounded servicemembers and scholarships.
